Melissa's passion for photography began shortly after graduating high school and pursuing her degree in finance. Aimlessly walking the Boston streets, Mel would spot a 'money shot' and shoot - leaving no evidence behind. After completing countless workshops, Mel humbly opened her very own photography studio in Lynn, MA in 2013. Her desire to shoot newborn babies grew rapidly after shooting her nephew born in 2010. "The site of new life I grew to love!" - Melissa. Shortly after, Mel closed her studio doors, accepting a role of traveling the country regularly. Now she shoots newborns all over the DMV and around the world! "I love shooting! - there's a mist of joy that sprays me when I see those tiny feet in front of my camera." - Melissa.
