自己紹介

I am a natural light photographer in Nashville, TN focusing on lifestyle family images as well as the occasional equine session. My passion is to document the beauty in real life moments. My love for photography started long ago with documenting life after my brother passed away when I was 14. I wanted to capture everything since pictures were the only "tangible" memories I could hold on to of him. When I became a mother, photographing my children turned into a small obsession and slowly more and more people began asking me to take pictures of their children. It was a hobby and now has turned into a career. I love being able to give people the gift of memories they can hold.

This is actually my daughter Sullivan Mae with my horse Dawn. I got Dawn when I was 12 and have had her for 19 years. I showed her competitively through the American Quarter Horse Association until I retired her a few years ago. When Sullivan was born she was instantly attracted to animals, especially Dawn. Before she could speak she would say "neigh" and point to the door asking to go to the barn. As Dawn is getting older, I know our time with her is shorter than I would like to admit and my days of watching the love between my daughter and my horse will not be forever. My goal with this shoot was to document their relationship, their bond, the peace they have with each other and their comfort of just being next to each other. It's an image I will cherish forever.
