This gorgeous Mom-to-be was just absolutely glowing in this gold metallic dress. I love the delicateness of the dress, the strap falling off the shoulder, and just a tender, serene moment captured.
We call this robe the cupcake and all the mamas-to-be wants to be photographed in it! It is just so ethereal and creates a frame around the subject. I love how calm and peaceful my client looks as well even though she had car issues and a crazy morning before getting to her session.
Due to COVID, we had to wait a bit longer before doing little Ava's newborn session. She was already 6 weeks old by the time we could finally open up and do a session with extra safety measures. She was super awake and adorable and eventually fell asleep and we got some sleepy newborn photos.
Expecting your second baby can be conflicting. While of course, it is exciting, it can also be kinda sad to think how life will be with a second one after your first has been (and still is) your baby and had your full attention for the past two years. This boy loves his Mama and just wants to give hugs and be held.
This image reminds me of a flower petal. So organic and flowing like in a breeze. For me, it a symbol of the delicateness of pregnancy yet also showing the strength of a mom and her changing body.
That red dress just takes everyone's breath away, especially against the dark background. This gorgeous mom is as bold as this dress and was just as breathtaking.
This beautiful Mama lost her fur-baby the day before and was a little sad when she turned up for her session, but the makeup pamper helped her relax and feel good and she rocked her session with hubby standing by to do some fabric throwing for us which made us all giggle and laugh because he preferred a 'ready-set-go' countdown instead of my "3-2-1". Something we came to an agreement after quite a few tries in order for him to actually let go of the fabric.
I love capturing these tender moments between Mama and baby. Moms give so much to their babies - all their energy goes into providing for this little one. Sarah Buckley has this beautiful quote about it - "Breastfeeding reminds us of the universal truth of abundance; the more we give out, the more we are filled up, and that divine nourishment - the source from which we all draw, is like a mother's breast, ever full and ever-flowing".
For me, this photo just captured the essence of Christmas - finding a quiet moment from all the chaos and just enjoy something that makes you happy - like playing with a truck. This little guy with his flaming red hair found that moment away from his two sisters and the craziness of the session and I was so happy I could get in in-camera. With the low light and dark background, it just reminded me of an old painting.
Sisterly love all wrapped up in this cute bundle. The sun was absolutely gorgeous this afternoon and the girls had had enough of their family session at this point but I’m glad we could keep it together long enough for one last shot to capture the atmosphere (and their close bond) of this crisp Fall afternoon.
