She was 8 days earth side when we met in my home studio. They traveled from about 2.5 hours to come to me, which is very flattering:) Baby girl Ande was not interested in sleeping most of the session, until about 3/4 through our session when I nestled her into this basket, she went straight to sleep and let me capture this beautiful photo of her <3
Avery fast asleep in the beautiful comfort of outdoors. While every baby is special that comes to our studio...sweet Avery was an extra special gift. Her mother and I once worked together many years ago and have been friends for years. It's always an honor when your friends trust you to create beautiful images of their most precious gifts.
This image was also shot on Demmerkogel, in southern Styria on a golden autumn day. I went there with 3 gorgeous breastfeeding mums who were willing to show the world how beautiful such a breastfeeding relationship can be. First we took different shots close before sunset and it was nice and warm. But as th sun went completely down the babies got a bit cold and so we had to improvise and combine new outfits. I was so happy, the mum in the picture took this cute baby-cardigan with jelly bag cap along.
There is nothing more beautiful than the connection between a mother and her baby. Even when mums don’t feel up for having photos straight after birth, I always encourage them to allow me to take some shots because these are photos that both the mother and her child will cherish forever.
This little guys mum is a school teacher so I just had to have a little fun and incorporate that into his session. He was nice and sleepy at this part of the session which meant we got the shot pretty quickly.
I love this image and I'm so happy it was chosen for an award.
Winning an award for this photo is extra special to me and close to my heart as this is my son. With his mummy being a photographer he keeps going in and out of my studio in all sorts of different outfits and set ups. Luckily he absolutely loves it and just gets the biggest smile on his face as soon as he sees the lights in my studio. This photo was perfect teamwork between mummy and son!
This little guy was a recipient of one of my monthly ‘rainbow baby’ newborn session giveaways. I offer these free sessions to deserving families once a month. Baby B was born a couple of years after his brother passed away in utero at 33 weeks gestation. Baby B is a true blessing to his family.
Every effort we made for this gorgeous breastfeeding shooting on this day was SO worth it! I'm so happy, this beautiful mum was part of my team on this beautiful autumn day. Together with two other breastfeeding moms, I went to a stunning location in southern Styria, called Demmerkogel, and shot this image close before sunset. It was my contribution to World Breastfeeding Week 2017 along with several other great pictures made on this day.
I always love this time of year when you can pull out the darker earthier tones for newborn sessions. His mum was happy for me to select a couple of colors to use and I thought this green would work great with his skin tones. I love adding these 'not so typical' images to clients gallery as an extra little surprise and they usually end up as the parents favorites! Kaleb was an amazing baby to photograph and this is one of many favorites from his final gallery.

I don't get to photograph twins a lot so when I had a booking for these little twins, I just knew I wanted to create an image with impact. I love the colors and connection, and the bond between them. I have this image displayed proudly in my studio on a 50x30 canvas wall piece as I just fell in love with it.
