Second Collection

I had the honor of photographing this little girl's mama and daddy's engagement, and wedding! Then I helped them welcome their baby girl into the world with newborn portraits. To say she is special to me, is a complete understatement! This is one the best families I've ever had the privilege of meeting!

"Dancing on the beach". This picture really encompasses the excitement of a fun free day running and jumping on the beach. While mid day beach light can be tricky, I was happy we were able to capture the vibrant colors of the sky and water along with the pops of red without sacrificing the shot. And best of all I think we can really see the excitement of this cutie celebrating Valentine's Day on a beautiful Santa Barbara day.

Welcome, baby Liam Wes. These two are Gia and Liam. Since day one, Gia has been the greatest big sister ever. Taking care of her brother, hugging him, helping him calm down and smile and last but not least filling his days with kisses.

This is one of the monthly photos I took of my son to document his first year. This was the only shot I got of this set up as he was not into it. But sometimes you only need one.

Baby Sebastian had the most adorably cheeks I just had to get a close up of him. Our aim was to focus on the finer details and we were able to achieve this with directional lighting and a shallow depth of field.

Pierce and Saxon were small but mighty! They definitely let me know when they didn't want to do a particular pose, but when I held them they were as happy and cuddly as could be. I loved that session; what an absolutely beautiful and amazing family. There was so much love I could cry!

Teodora was the best baby I've ever worked with! She slept throughout the session, taking breaks only for feeding. My sweetest Easter Bunny!

This sweet girl's parents were given a gift certificate for their baby shower. Holland visited me at just 5 days old and she was the best sleeper ever! She gave us so many poses it was almost impossible to pick my favorite, but this image just stands out, and has become a studio favorite with everyone!

We tried to keep this shot as natural as possible. The lighting, colors incorporated in the accessories and well..even the cute babies, we really wanted to highlight the subjects. A truly tender moment captured between two beautiful identical twin sisters.

I've known baby Sammy's family for almost two years. I took pictures of his older sister for her cake smash and was ecstatic to come back for his newborn pictures. Recently he and his family came in for some 6 month pictures. He was as happy as could be and just perfect for his session! He giggled and smiled the whole session, especially when my dog wanted to steal his spotlight infant of the camera. LOL!
