Hi, I am Vicky, 40 years old and I’m a Belgian photographer. I have 2 young daughters of 6 and 3 years old which are my very own little models. Besides my photography business I’m also working as a speech therapist.
In the past, I used to photograph nature, landscape and architecture, but now I’m all hooked up on newborn and portrait photography! I love love love capturing emotion and I have a predelection for black and white photography. I am a perfectionist and I keep improving my work every single time. It was a pleasure to photograph this mother and her beautiful baby girl. The baby was very awake so we really had to be patient to get the right expression. I’m very happy with the result. I love pure images and I think a photo like this is timeless.

I just love portraits in Fine Art Style. Just the portrait, pure, without any distractions like flowers or objects. I think these pure portraits are timeless, so I tried to create some images in this style for my kids later. This is my daughter Maëlle, 2 years old. It looks quite easy, but I had to take lots of shots before I got the ‘right expression’. I’m so honored te receive an award in this style for the forth month in a row. Thank you so much!
