About Sean

My beloved photographer life started 14 years ago since university， and I’ve been almost taking photographs for babies and all family-themed photography ever since. After moved to LA I found, to my surprise, that people desiring for embedding their most important and beautiful moments, mothers’ pregnancy, husbands’ love for his pregnant wife, and the warmth hours of the whole family get together, in their memories by taking a perfect memorable photograph. Happiness, by taking photos of them, has also become a great joy of mine. I can’t love it more every time I saw my clients positively glowed with happiness when receiving their photos from me, the photos of all happy moments captured through my artistic eye.

Baby Lucy is my baby plan client! I feel so privileged watching her grow! She was amazing at her sitter session and loved playing peekaboo with me!
Baby Jacob was almost one year old at his cake smash session. But before the cake was served I had a chance to do a couple formal portraits of him.
Baby Max was 9 days old at his newborn session. I used a curved white bench to accentuate the birth announcement on a square blackboard, which Mom wanted to include.

Newborn Alexandra 9 days. A wonderful and tender baby. It was a pleasure to photograph her. Many beautiful images were obtained, which entered the photobook. Triplets! These three little bundles of joy did so well for their photoshoot. I love the eye contact and the soft tones of this image so much.
After trying for their second child, Justin and Lauren tragically suffered a miscarriage leaving them both feeling the unimaginable pain of emptiness. They so much wanted a sibling for their son Kelson and courageously tried for a third. Bryce Charles was born April 14th within his own home and mom, dad, and Kelson could not be more in love. The rainbow signifies the beauty that follows the storm and reminds us that there is always a reason to keep going.

When stunning Sveya came into my studio all curled up with her perfect itty bitty features and that stunningly thick dark hair, I knew I was in for one fun session with so many cute idea's up my sleeve!<br /> Though mum had one request, which was something "butterfly" ... and Butterfly I did :)
Houston's beautiful mother is an amazing cake artist and so we found it rather fitting to have a setup where it would appear as though Houston has had a late night baking away and making lots of yummy mess!
This beautiful mother wanted just one more moment of breastfeeding her now 12month old daughter as she's about to move on to the bottle. I was more than happy to capture such a beautiful moment that they both shared together.

This beautiful couple of twins were born two-month before time and spent the next two month in NICU. <br /> I was thinking how could I make this session easy for the mom and the twins without compromising on the results. I was thinking how could I show this unconditional natural love in one simple frame.<br /> And this frame is the result.

Many fairytale dreams and wishes are made from this little Princess' bed. Sweet Hunter just couldn't wait to show me her special spot at Nana's house. The lighting in this room was all natural light coming from these gorgeous windows, making this the perfect spot to capture this wonderful image.
This sweet baby girl was born a month early and weighing only 4lbs. Happy to report she has blossomed beautiful and fills her days with lots of smiles and giggles and tons of curiosity. I think one of her favourite things to do, is to follow her big sister around daily.
These Canadian cuties are siblings and cousins....and the very best of friends. They couldn’t get in the wagon fast enough. A whole lotta love in one place.

I am simply in love with all of the darker, deep tones of the image and I had so much fun putting all of this together!<br /> He was a lovely little man who slept like a dream once I had him wrapped.
This little man is an identical twin who I had the pleasure of photographing- Mum asked for something dark, woodland and magical and she simply loves this beautiful set I created for her.

Surprises in a photo session are always a possibility...it is always wonderful when that surprise gives you more for your images than you thought you would get. This session took place at a plant nursery that has the most wonderful stone cottage and fence. What we didn't know was that the chickens that live in this miniature cottage would be out on the premises today. While most two year olds are a bit fearful of chickens, Lydia was absolutely intrigued by them. They were wonderful with her and followed her around like a mama hen.
This sweet sisters! They are all about taking care of each other. Early mornings I find are just the best for photographing young children. It seems to be their best time of the day and there is less distraction as fewer people are out. This location is the entrance to a subdivision. When I saw this giant rock I just loved having it for the girls to sit on. I used my Nikon D4S and a long prime lens to capture this sweet moment!
Moms and babies are so dreamy...but I so love it when I get a chance to photograph a dad with his sweet little one. We took in a wooded area at the front of a subdivision in the early morning. Early morning is key to get the soft light of course...babies love this time of the day...the grown ups...it is a little harder! lol
How I love the things of yesterday...I am an old soul. This is in my kitchen and I collected all the lovely vintage things from the 40s and 50s for this. I was inspired by an old print I found in an antique store.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Old world is in my heart and soul. I loved setting up this Christmas themed bedtime with my neighbors sweet kiddos!
I love all things vintage! When I saw 3 little vintage valentines in an antique shop in Heber, UT last summer on vacation I bought them knowing I would do something inspired by them. I loved making a valentine mailbox when I was a kid to take to school for card exchanges. I would come home and read and reread them all like precious treasure. When I found the mail collection bin I was just giddy...I knew what I wanted to do. I spend about 6 months gathering and having custom made items for this little session. Melt my heart!
I found this wonderful timeless victorian sailor suit and couldn't wait to find the perfect moment to use it. I am 6 foot soft box with the light feathered to the subjects left and a second light behind me diffused through a large scrim to create lovely soft light.
