I love when I get the babies who just want to sleep through it all. Baby Lincoln was a dream to work with. This is the time of the year when things start to slow down for my studio so I love when I get a little extra free time to create something wonderful and magical for my parents here in West Texas. Being huge Harry Potter fans, I couldn't resist creating a composite for them to hang and cherish for years to come.
Big brother had such a great time playing in the studio and eating fruit snacks while I spent time with little brother. When the time came for sibling pictures big brother wasn’t quite ready to stop the party. A well positioned iPhone and some fancy editing got us to this magnificent moment!
I am very lucky to have this little personal assistant and model at home who helps me to try new set ups before I offer them to my clients. He seems to enjoy it a lot and we always have fun doing it. I love sharing my passion with him and I look forward to teaching him more about photography as he grows.
This is Baby Jazlyn at 3 months, the second child of the Basu family whose first daughter Evlyn was as beautiful when clicked. I simply adore the cute mischief in her eyes and the slight smile on her face in this capture.
Love to document these precious moments for life.
Mommy & Me Love
Esta imagen tiene tanto significado de amor dentro de ella, un amor puro. Este pequeño de 10 meses disfrutó de su sesión lleno de sonrisas. Es único e indescriptible cuando logras capturar momentos tan espontáneos entre mamá e hijos.
As Austria's leading breastfeeding photographer, I always look out for THIS very special and magical moment between a loving mother and her child. I try to capture their most beautiful and intimate pose in gorgeous outfits and even more stunning surroundings. But for this winter-shot, we had to improvise a little bit. Because with no snow on our shooting-day, I had to use snow-spray to cover up some branches and add a few snowflakes in post-production. I'm pretty happy with the final outcome. This lovely picture turned out to become my very first cinemagraph too. Check out my Youtube channel to view all the magic! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFNc72oFnoM
I visited this family for a photoshoot and these two little sweethearts couldn't stop talking about their best friends, their Icelandic horses, so we spent the afternoon outside together with them. To see these animals together with the children, how they carefully and so gently took care of each other was amazing. Pure love!
I've got a second passion, wildlife photography. When I started newborn photography, I was really attracted by animals hat. I think they are so cute with. At the beginning it was more for fun, and know my clients comes to me for that, because they love this atmosphere.
On a sunny autumn day, we did a walk in the Black Forest near my home town. The higher we walked the more fog came up the mountain, where we finally saw these big mushrooms! I took this beautiful image and saved that moment, which I love because it is so special and natural.
This is little Leo; he was 8 days-old when this photo was taken. This image was shot on location in the family's home using a speed light and a parabolic umbrella. It's one of my favorite images from the session.
I also had the pleasure of photographing this little one's mother when he was still in her belly. It was an honor to meet this family and document this special time in their lives.
