Third Collection
It was very important for baby's parents to have a few images of their new little one with his big sister. Fortunately, this adorable little girl was the sweetest and proudest big sister I have ever met, so we were able to capture some really precious moments between her and her little brother.
Mom and dad met while working for the same fire company. They caught each others' eye and started going out. Now, they are married and this is their second baby and first girl, daddy's little girl.
This family was suggested to my studio by another client as they had just moved into the area. I was so thrilled to work with them. They were so energetic, especially their oldest son. He loved taking photos with his little brother. Landry was one of the most calm and happy babies I've been able to photograph. This set up came as a last minute idea that I had in my head and he was settled and happy and I'm beyond thrilled with the outcome. It's by far one of my favorite military themed photos I've taken.
These twins made us dreaming in a session in which everything was perfect. Quiet and beautiful, this little boys made us enjoy every single moment.
They also enjoyed the photoshooting, I know it, I could see it in their faces ...
It was easy to see that special and unique bond between them; that such an immense force that grows with every day they share...
Accomplices, brothers ... Each one is for the other the reflection of his own soul.
It was certainly a super special newborn session, where the connection between them was felt in the air; a beautiful connection that exists from the very first time between them.
As I am based in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area in the United States, which is famous for, among other things, the pink cherry blossom trees that bloom around the national monuments in the spring, this little sweetheart's mom and I couldn't resist the idea of a cherry blossom wreath for her session. As this little girl was about 6 weeks old at the time, we thought that perhaps she might be awake and alert for the photos but, as soon as I wrapped her up, she fell right asleep and started flashing me beautiful, gigantic smiles like the one you see in this image!
I dreamt of creating an image of the flower fairies, and when I saw Masha, I understood, that she would be an ideal fairy. I ordered special tender accessories for her,so her parents were admiring.
This boy's picture was a true challenge. He doesn't like photographers at all, but his mom wanted to keep a memory of him at this age. I had to play a clown, become his friend and give him confidence before getting this image, after two hours of hard work. Of course, the environment helped a lot: the beautiful train station in Quito. The final image is one of my finest pictures ever.
This image of Snow White was made at the request of baby Sofia's mother. With the help of my friend Sandra Cascais, we added elements to resemble the character without losing the main focus of the adorable baby and was able to capture this lovely image.
Getting outside as soon as the British Summer arrives (and for the short time it stays) means exciting opportunities for photography. Capturing moments such as this is such a privilege.
This photo of Andrew was taken to honor his father, a retired United States Marine who has returned safely after a couple of tours of duty. When his mother and I were planning Andrew's session, I had a special US Marine inspired diaper cover made while his mom gathered her husband's uniform and accessories. It was truly a humbling and emotional session on a very hot summer day in my studio.
This is Zara Marie. When I made this photo I was taking maternity photos of her mother in their home. Since photography isn't only a job but also a great love of mine, when I saw the perfect light I couldn't resist not to record a photo of her elder sister.
As I remember it was a time when photographers were under pressure to get the perfect shot because we have limited time with good weather in May in Moscow. That day in the park were lots of photographers who were trying to capture the scene with the apple blossom trees ( only blossom for 2 weeks) My model was my daughter, she was more interested in making new friends than being my model:) It was a little bit stressful situation for me, crowds of people and an uncooperative model but we managed to get lots of fun and nice photos.
It was the last photo in the session. The baby was so sleepy and sweet, I decided to make a picture with a hug.
Baby was probably the smiliest baby I have ever had in my entire career! Wouldn't stop smiling for every single position I put her in! This one was my favorite.
Mason's mommy told me prior to her session she would like to include donuts, and some of her husband's police uniform into his newborn session. Right away I had this image pop into my head! It turned out just like I imagined.
Photography for me is a way of looking at the world and see the beauty and aesthetics in it , I learned to develop a special look and make details and unrepeatable gestures. Over time, my passion was forged in what is now my profession. All my sessions are different and enjoy a very special way to each of them for giving me the opportunity to leave a unique memory of those children.
It was the seventh day of baby Guadalupe in her new home. Mum and I were preparing everything for the shooting. Suddenly Timoteo, 18-month-old, now the older brother in charge was trying to pumper her with so much effort that he left us speechless.A mix of curiosity and love at first sight! Sometimes an image says more than a thousand words.
This was Caitlyn's 1st birthday milestone session. Mummy insisted on everything pretty and girly for her special girl. Caitlyn was an absolute sweetheart with all giggles and smiles having adorned such beautiful flowers on her hair. Little girls will always be extra special to our hearts.
Beautiful Reese. She was by Far One of my Best Newborns in Studio. We were able to capture so many amazing shots. This one just happens to be my Favorite of her session. LOVE the way the Purple stands out against her skin and the dark background!
Little Caiden was born just 8 days prior to his newborn portraits session that took place in his parents home. This image was inspired by his amazing parents who are both active duty and serving in the United States Marine Corps, both on their second tour of duty. Mom and dad are both extremely proud of the service and wanted a way to incorporate their love of their child and country into one amazing portrait.
This photo is a result of my second newborn shooting after finishing my photography distance study in 2014. It´s always important for me taking pictures of baby details like hair, eyes or fingers. The little girl was very interested in focusing my camera while she was lying on a big bean bag. So it was very easy for me to take a picture of theirs beautiful brown eyes.
Who haven't dreamt of becoming a pilot? At least these two little girls have. They were really excited with the idea of being pilots and would seriously plan their journey looking at the map and deciding which direction their golden plane would fly. We directed them only a little bit but mostly went with the flow and let them play the roles as they saw it. This session was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed it. So, who said a girl can only dream to become a princess?
This little princess is Amarine, thoroughly enjoying her milk bath. I just can't get over how beautiful her eyes are.
This is sweet baby Ella. We had a blast shooting this little gem as she was all smiles & poses the entire morning. Mom & I planned every detail of this shoot. We wanted willow trees, giants balloons, & of course what's cuter than a baby in a wicker basket! At the very last minute, we added the 'E' for some extra detail & it totally made the shot. Up & away little one!
It's an enormous challenge for a man to be a child photographer, but this is, what motivates me the most. Many times I feel myself a child as well among them, perhaps I am one still one of them, at least inside. This photo would not have been made without the devotion and help of the mother.
We wanted to create an autumn atmosphere, capturing that this little guy was born in this beautiful time of the year.
Nearly a whole day of work and a lot of patience gave birth to this photo, which also celebrates the 10th day of him.
Living in a military town, there are so many Sailors and Marines with new babies. This little girl had so much love surrounding her, they even named her Valentina! This sweet girl was so happy to be in her Father's arms and fell asleep perfectly and settled right into him. I truly love this photo as it represents all the protection and love that not only a Father has for their new child but the Military does in protecting our great Country.
