Twenty-Eighth Collection

This is little Jakobi. He was a total surprise baby, and his momma was battling MS when they found out she was expecting him! From the moment she found out he was a boy she started planning for this Harry Potter newborn session! She has been a huge fan since she was a child! We were both so excited about how the sorting hat image turned out.

I had the pleasure of photographing a dance school during June, The Linda Shaw Dance Centre. These girls weren’t booked in together for the shoot but were back to back in the photographic session and I just had to have one of them together. Sophie is 9 and Izabelle is 10 both stunning in their gorgeous ballerina tutus.

This little boy is called Leo. This sounds proudly!) The photo session was held in a beautiful setting. He was so cute, helped me) all the time asleep) What could be better for a newborn photographer is a good sleeping baby)

This sweet baby girl was born a month early and weighing only 4lbs. Happy to report she has blossomed beautiful and fills her days with lots of smiles and giggles and tons of curiosity. I think one of her favourite things to do, is to follow her big sister around daily.

It's all about the strenght and magic of a woman, the grace and power of a mother and the deep glow of mother earth. We achieved a great change in the world's opinion of breastfeeding in public, but there's still work to do.

When mom brought her sweet little man to me to be photographed, the only item she wanted a photo with was this cute brown bear on the left. When she and her hubby had just found out they were expecting, the dad to be grabbed it off a shelf in a store and said “this will be his first stuffy.” I thought that was so sweet, and so of course I had to grab my little bear suit (made by knits by Lou) to photograph the friends together. It’s one of moms favourite pictures ❤️

This is a photograph of my first beautiful girl. Princess Isabelle sitting under the tree, in her own fairy tale. Love how calm she is.

Surprises in a photo session are always a possibility...it is always wonderful when that surprise gives you more for your images than you thought you would get. This session took place at a plant nursery that has the most wonderful stone cottage and fence. What we didn't know was that the chickens that live in this miniature cottage would be out on the premises today. While most two year olds are a bit fearful of chickens, Lydia was absolutely intrigued by them. They were wonderful with her and followed her around like a mama hen.

Best friends make the world beautiful. Charlotte & Ryley have been best friends forever, creating this pieces was such a joy, they have this aurora of understanding each other without words, knowing how to feed of each other and know how to pull the others head in. This frame was an epic moment of symbiosis

This girl was so in to Miffy, that the parents wanted a photo of the both of them together.
The girl was almost 1 year old, and she gladly shared the balloon with Miffy...

I had the pleasure of photographing a dance school during June and this beautiful young lady is one of the dancers from the Linda Shaw Dance Centre. She’s 11yrs old and such a darling!
