Thirty-Fourth Collection
This baby boyโs father brought his teddy bear from his childhood for his son to hold during his newborn session. So this photo is filled with two generations of love!
This is my favorite photograph from that shoot. The boys were just playing around and I took hundreds of photos of them but when I saw this candid โtong-sticking and pouty lipsโ I start laughing and knew it will be a great pick.
At the blue hours, she's playing with her cat
This little girl was so pretty with her blond curly hair
She was playing for the camera.
Introducing 'little' Alfie. We wanted to show how big this gorgeous boy was in his parents' hands. This was shot at the very end of the session and he settled into position perfectly.
It was wonderful capturing the essence of these two together, their gentleness, their chemistry and their love as they await their first born baby.
I love it when my clients bring something sentimental along to their sessions. Sometimes it's a family ring, an heirloom blanket, or in this case, an airplane built by this little one's dad. But what's even more special is that it's modeled after the airplane that his dad made for him when he was a boy.
It was such an honor capturing this gorgeous family! Sometimes you just instantly connect with your client and they become friends. I can't wait to photograph their newborn baby very soon.
Hello friends!! I am very glad to be with you again, and to delight you with new works !!! What could be more beautiful than a woman who gives a new life! This is a fertile tree!
This sweet cherub was all about her boots.... the faster they fell off, the faster she wanted them back on. Little diva in the works โฅ๏ธ
I found this wonderful timeless victorian sailor suit and couldn't wait to find the perfect moment to use it. I am 6 foot soft box with the light feathered to the subjects left and a second light behind me diffused through a large scrim to create lovely soft light.
Strong, vibrant, powerful, beautiful this mother waited so patiently for him. He is so very loved the princess got her prince.
I loved recreating this image to match her maternity image.
Nash 2 weeks old. We did his photos at his home. He is such a handsome little boy. Slept most of the time. I just love all the free cuddles I get and have a job I love.
This is my daughter Lila and the rabbit she got for her very first Easter. As you can tell, the bunny is well-loved and this picture truly displays the innocence and love of childhood. It reminds me of our of our favorite stories, The Velveteen Rabbit.
The best images are those capturing raw emotions. This loving image of a doting dad was captured during their newborn at home session on a hot Sydney summer's day.
The day before this shoot, I shot a gorgeous maternity session and had a florist make a greenery halo. I didn't want all that pretty greenery to go to waste so I re-purposed some of it to make the halo seen on Little Steven here. I also wanted some greenery for the floor so I walked across the street from my studio and snipped a little bit out of a tree near the community garden! How's that for utilizing your surroundings!
I am happy that my work was chosen !! Tenderness and love in every look of my older sister! The greatest happiness is the new life of our children.
I love all things vintage! When I saw 3 little vintage valentines in an antique shop in Heber, UT last summer on vacation I bought them knowing I would do something inspired by them. I loved making a valentine mailbox when I was a kid to take to school for card exchanges. I would come home and read and reread them all like precious treasure. When I found the mail collection bin I was just giddy...I knew what I wanted to do. I spend about 6 months gathering and having custom made items for this little session. Melt my heart!
