Wearing those kind of big dresses make women immediately feel great. Exactly this expression is, what I want to make visible in my images.

I love working with goldleafs- to bring out the curves in an elegant way and cover nudity with the goldflakes.

Breastfeeding is so much more than nutrition. It's a way of caring for a baby that will provide a lifetime's worth of good health because it provides a way for mothers to connect with their babies. Breastfeeding in public (especially a toddler) must become more accepted. It’s a shame that women are required to breastfeed in an appropriate place to avoid discomforting others, and to protect herself from the unwanted gaze.

This lady in red is expecting her first child. She came into my studio and was a bit nervous about the session. She is not experienced in posing. She rocked it! She nailed every single pose and dress and walked empowered and happy out of the studio.

Dream big, my little child! We should empower our children to dream big and believe in themselves. Give them wings to fly and roots to grow.

Bonding is known as the skin to skin contact between baby and parents after birth and that follows up through the first few weeks after childbirth. As being a midwife as well as a photographer I love to photograph the pureness in this moment, where naked baby lay peacefully on his dad‘s skin in order to show this special relationship created between a newborn with its parents. Unconditional and pure love.

This wonderful couple expected their 4th child and wanted a special fotoshooting, something extra. They reached out for a fotografer on social media and asked for ideas. I always wanted to try out underwaterfotografy, so I contacted them. They immediately loved the idea. This picture was captured in a reshoot. The first attempt failed due to bad light conditions and low quality gear. Thankfully they gave me a second chance and we had a lot of fun practicing on a super cold summer day.

The focus of my maternityshootings is not the babybelly, but the female power to create a human being. I am also a midwife. I feel a deep fascination for pregnant women.

This lady was pregnant for the first time and I was impressed by her power, self confidence and self love. She rocked her shooting from the first minute in a way I rarely experience women in their shootings. She didn’t even need a „warm up“. Looking at this picture you can feel this special kind of female power and hopefully it inspires other women and sets them on fire.
