Thirty-Eighth Collection
This image was taken next to my garden with my cutie. She actually loves flower and wants to take part in my shot, so I decided to try with her. A session without any preparation and I absolutely love! Sometimes, less is more...
As a Northeast Newborn Photographer, I get clients that travel from all around the to come to my studio. One of the best compliments is when a family drives long distance to me and I couldn’t be more grateful! Meet Zoe who traveled 3+ hours from New Hampshire!
I absolutely loved that Zoe’s mom wanted to try a little more rustic colors for her newborn photography session. These colors are absolutely gorgeous!
In addition to photographing sweet baby Zoe and her family, I actually got to capture some cousins as well! These guys were absolutely amazing during their photography session.
The final shot of a very fun second birthday photo shoot with a little princess. She was the most interactive, cheeky and mischievous little girl during it all, but towards the end, all she wanted was some cuddles from mummy.
In making this image we have chosen to use only one color, so the background, the cap, and the bear are all the same tonality of beige.
As illumination, we used two lights: the main diffused and smooth given by a large bank placed slightly to the right of baby and the other one softer placed just behind.
This mama decided to no longer wait for the 'right' person to come along, and brought this beautiful baby into the world as a strong, independent, single woman! Her maternity & newborn sessions were beyond spectacular and you could tell how much she celebrated this journey into motherhood. It was inspiring to watch, and a complete honour to photograph her.
Many thanks for this award. This picture is my favorite picture from my shootings in May. I love these colors. It makes the picture perfect.
Mama is a dancer. I love the simple beauty of this photo. We were in the middle of posing and I shouted "STOP! PERFECT!!" And now I am just adding characters so I can save the description that has to be 128 characters. <3
I photograph this family every year and it is amazing to see them change and the little ones grow up! This year we had a sunset session and for the last few photos, I decided to play with silhouettes and this gorgeous sky. I have the best job in the world!
Little newborn Mark, he is only 16 days old, and he is already a businessman. It is so nice to capture the very first days of life of babies.
In a field full of sunflowers, only one caught my eye. She looked a little sad. To me, she was perfect. And this is the result.
It is not known how animals understand people. But they, no doubt, understand them. Perhaps there is some kind of language that does not depend on words, and everyone understands it. Perhaps every being is hidden in the soul, and it can communicate without words with other souls.
The butterfly is an overlay added during post-processing, but after seeing the final edit my 2-year-old daughter is convinced that she really caught this butterfly on her finger that day. My little butterfly catcher is very proud of herself. The magic of photoshop is real!
I absolutely love how gorgeous this family is and they have the sweetest little girls! Shot on mocha seamless paper with 1 light camera right.
I was delighted to be asked back to photograph this beautiful Mummy again, pregnant with her 2nd baby and to meet her gorgeous little boy. I loved this moment when he looked at his Mummy's lovely round tummy and then searched for his. Just precious.
"Brother and sister, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends."
I'm very thankful for being chosen, this means a lot to me.
What a beautiful family and what a pity, you can see only their feet. This family came to me for a newbornshooting and I wanted to take some photos with their two dogs, too. The mother of the baby had a special wish and I wanted it to be realized.
This is a composing picture from four photos. I'm so happy that the jury liked it. Thank you so much! It is a pleasure for me.
Children are little explorers and the whole world is ahead of them! I love catching these lovely moments filled with emotions...
Meet sweet baby Gunner, 8 days new! He had the best eyelashes of all time! I love using dark backdrops with beanbag shots to create beautiful depth and contrast, navy blue was his color <3
We were hoping to get this shot planning this baby boy's nine-month session but were not too optimistic because he is full of energy and always very distracted by me and the camera. Alas, after a fun first half, he settled in for a cuddle and special moment with her and even fell asleep! We couldn't be happier with the result and we are both so excited and honored to be selected for this collection. Thank you!!
I truly enjoy making my own props. Learned knitting when I was still a schoolgirl with my granny so when the postman delivered this lovely wooly mat, I knew that I need to make the little big heart. It is my lucky heart.
A tender moment captured in time. A moment this family thought they would never have. After a long journey of eight years. This beautiful family of three became four
I love everything blooming, especially on a "grey" day like the one in the photo. It was a bit chilly and windy and normally in Malta people do not appreciate such weather. This little girl rocked it and we had so much fun creating beautiful photos as a result.
We are very happy with this award. A reward for hard work, hours of study and improvement to achieve the result that we like the most in color and composition. Thank you.
This photo was taken during my personal project abroad. Country met me with rain, wind and low temperature... nevertheless, the photo session was excellent. Knowing how much work has been done I'm so happy that this photo was selected! Thank you very much!
This baby's mama loves sunflowers, so we worked to create an image that was double-meaningful to her. Sunflowers represent loyalty, strength, and adoration. They can grow just about anywhere they are planted. What a great way to show your baby how strong and powerful they are, as well as how much you adore them.
Beautiful Typhanie in the woods. We headed to a special forest for this session. I always loved a good light with the amazing nature surrounding us, so when we saw this huge rock, I asked her if she would be willing to lie down and she said yes. I was so happy to get this shot!
This photo session has to be one of my favorites so far this year, we have had a lot of rain this spring but this particular evening was beautiful, loved the lighting and not a single bug in the site which has been rare this spring. I had a very stylized storytelling session in mind with a brand new couture gown that was very much inspired by some old movies with a bit of a twist. The entire set ended up with gorgeous rich tones love the story line that unfolded. Love how these turned out and are truly a treasured keepsake for this young girl !!
"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything". Little Maya, 7 weeks old.
Birth and water. Something about it that just goes together. The fluidity and grace yet embracing the curves. It's something I just had to dabble into. My goal wasn't to take a super sharp photo but to capture a mood. Thank you to the gorgeous mummy that was just stellar in her pose. Truly an amazing and gorgeous mom.
This is Sweet baby Declan. His great grandpa passed away in 2009. His mom Chelsea was very close to him. A couple of years after his passing she saw where people had made a pillow with an old shirt. She contacted her grandma and asked if she still had any of his shirts. At that time she told her no. Little did she know that in March of 2019 that her grandma would be ready to part with his old flannel. Chelsea remembered her grandma wearing it on a chilly day. She thinks after all the years her heart was healed and she was in a good place. When her grandma found out that Chelsea was expecting Declan she gave the flannel to Chelsea's mom and asked her to make her a special gift with it. Her mom made her that pillow she wanted so many years ago, she happened to have enough scraps to make the small quilt as well that is used in this photo.
