Fortieth Collection
This is a very special photograph for me :) This little Mowgli is my 5 years boy, just before his first haircut. I was in love with his wavy hair but he asked for a short haircut, just like daddy - and it didn't help to show him daddy's long hair when he was younger :) So this photograph was taken to cherish my little cub, a moment in time just before he turned into a little man.
We start our family session at around 4 pm. After an hour or so Guadalupe was tired so in the middle of our photoshoot, she took a nap. Lia, her mother was sad because she thought the session was over. I knew we already had some minutes left and if we were lucky the magic hour would be on our side. We left the park and arrived at a dock near the river. It was magical because the minute we arrived there the girl woke up and everything worked perfectly. Happy end because we had a great time and that is the aim of our sessions. Work made with love.
July is the lavender month! I love going there with a little princess. The golden hour is my favorite time of the day!
This little princess has lavender for her mom!
She is Majo, she is a model and she is very used to pose in front of the camera, but this time she posed with a big belly since she is pregnant with her first baby. The session flowed beautifully, she was very clear about what she wanted, her wardrobe, the places, the poses. At the end of the session she says "Caro, and if I get into the pool?" and my answer was ... of course, YES, and from that occasion so improvised came this photo. In this world of image creation, you have to let everything flow.
In photographing this girl I was thrilled by her beauty and her naturalness in posing, this was one of the last shots. I wanted to create an "ethereal" image, to create it I took great care of the position of the lights and I overexposed the background so as to flood it with light. Finally, I gave some instructions for laying and this is the result.
I call this photo "Peekaboo". This pose is one of my favourites - it is simple, easy to pose and the result is always amazing. Also, it helps having such a beautiful little girl who was born with a head full of hair as a little model.
In the photo, the newborn baby Yesenia. Throughout the shooting, the baby's dad was there to control the entire shooting process. I really love my work, and I always thank the parents of the kids for their trust.
Beautiful late summer evenings are coming to an end, but these sweet sisters continue to find the magical moments everywhere they go.
This gorgeous family was a joy to photograph. The two little girls loved being thrown up in the air and giggled so much, I loved capturing this precious moment in this stunning location.
I've been capturing this family's memories for the past several years, including all of her older siblings milestones. During Giulias newborn session, we decided to add some Christmas in July Joy. Doesn't she make the cutest little gingerbread lady? It has been an honor to meet this loving family and watch them grow over the years.
My heart is full of love, my dream came true - I have a sister. You're little but so big happiness. I was waiting for you for so long... Long 6 years...
I just love the fluidity and grace of these flowing fabric shots, embracing all the curves. Thank you to the gorgeous mama whose twin boys were born just as I heard these beautiful photos was selected for Collection 40! (Talk about perfect timing). She was amazing and keen to try all my suggestions and try out my custom wrapping skills.
A beautiful damsel takes a romp thru the grass and explores nature. What she finds will be peace and tranquility fulfilling the hopes of mankind for a bright future.
Photo session in lavender fields was my dream for quite a while already, but I live in SE Asia and we do not have lavender fields there. I was already in the plane and on my way to Slovakia when my photographer friend gave me the contact for the field owner and I managed to book the last slot of the season.
Sometimes all it takes is two sisters to make the fun and giggles begin!
I love working with this family, they always bring so many emotions to the shoot. And for me, emotions = a great result!
5 in the morning Ventura pier, located north Los Angeles. You know when people say: be at the right time and at the right place. Even I drove 150 miles ( 240km) to get there, even the pacific ocean was chill, it worth every moment. Gorgeous mama and papa surrounded by love for their first newborn baby. I enjoyed those moments when I pressed the pause button in their life
The personal treatment allows us to meet the people we photograph and the history behind them, which motivates them to be parents. They are aware of the decision they have made and know all the way they have to go, but that does not prevent them from giving themselves fully to this new stage.
This photo session took place in one of Norway's beautiful Manor. In this manor, the peacocks walk freely among the people. This beautiful peacock became our friend after spending several hours in this manor. He followed us all the way to the gate to say goodbye :)
I named it "The Bat". When you practice in your studio a night before a session and when the props you have creates THIS look:)
When babies start to stir a little bit I always have their parents pat their bum or even just hold them still. They always feel safe in their mother's hands and fall back asleep peacefully
Capturing the first year is so important. At no point in you littleโs life do they change more. This little cutie was in for her sitter session, and was a little shy at first, but was all smiles as we got into her session.
Aurore is a beautiful mom and has amazing red hair. I wanted to emphasize that while creating something truly special in the forest, so we chose this very dark and green forest as she wore a beautiful red dress.
Itโs always been a dream to do this type of session. This took months of planning from the outfit to the organizing of the horses and handlers and the location. it is truly one of those experiences where the horse and child had an immediate bond. And this was captured during there time together This is truly one of my favorite images this year!!
Baby Logan came to my studio with his big sister and parents. It was the first newborn session for this family and Mom wanted something unusual and creative. She has chosen grey, cream and dusty blue for her session and this image matched perfectly her expectations.
This wonderful ballerina is my niece Mimi from Budapest. She visited us in Hamburg on her Summer break. She impressed and inspired me with her flexibility. The camera simply loves her.
A few months ago I was describing to a client of mine, what was maternity for me, its preciousness and the incredible gift that life as given to us as women. I wanted something gold and shiny to express the concept of something precious, but I didn't want to use a golden dress, so I thought about painting Giulia's skin in gold.
Another fun Newborn Lifestyle session with 3 boys welcoming their baby sister to the family (the younger one had disappeared to grab something to eat!). I get the strong feeling this little one is going to have fun growing up with 3 older brothers looking out for her!
The best part about a sibling relationship is: - If you have a brother or sister you have a friend for life. They learn to love and share with each other their goods. They grow up together, making memories good and bad at every stage - through shared laughter and joy.
This picture was taken on lavender fields. Seeing this narrow path, I automatically designed the picture that I obtained.
This photo of this beautiful mummy-to-be was taken in a dreamy milk bath and incorporated all of her favorite flowers. The purity of the white milk bath ensures my exquisite subject is the main focus. That, together with the flowers and vines, give this image a natural and organic look. This is my interpretation of Mother Nature in her purest form.
